1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any works TMG Property Maintenance & Waste Management ("we", "us", "our") carries out for you. By requesting a quote or commissioning work, you accept these terms.

2. Our services

We provide property maintenance and waste management services including roofing, guttering, property maintenance, tree work, fencing, flooring and waste removal across London, Essex, Kent & all surrounding areas. Full details of each service are on our Services pages.

3. Quotes and estimates

Any quote we provide is an estimate based on the information available at the time and is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. We will confirm a fixed price in writing before work begins. Where unforeseen circumstances arise during a job, we will discuss any change to the cost with you before proceeding.

4. Accepting work and payment

• Work is commissioned once you accept our quote and we confirm a start date.
• Payment is due as agreed in your quote — typically on completion for smaller jobs, or by staged payments for larger works.
• Invoices are payable within 7 days unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may incur reasonable charges.
• We reserve the right to charge for call-outs and emergency visits where a job is not subsequently commissioned.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the property and the area being worked on.
• Give us accurate information about the job and any known hazards.
• Obtain any permissions or consents required (for example, for works to a listed building or a tree subject to a preservation order).
• Let us know in advance of any pets, alarms or access requirements.

6. Insurance and guarantees

We are fully insured. Workmanship is guaranteed against defects for a period of 12 months from completion, subject to fair wear and tear and correct use of the installed works. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by third parties, extreme weather events after installation, or pre-existing conditions we did not agree to remedy.

7. Cancellations

You may cancel a booked job by contacting us as soon as possible. Work already carried out (including call-out visits and materials ordered on your behalf) will be chargeable. Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations apply, you may have additional cancellation rights, which we will honour.

8. Waste and environmental duty of care

As a registered waste carrier we dispose of all waste at licensed facilities in line with our duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Where we remove waste from your property, we will provide a waste transfer note on request.

9. Website use

This website is provided for information and to request our services. You agree not to misuse it, submit false or unlawful enquiries, or attempt to disrupt its operation. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other matter that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability for any single claim is limited to the value of the works carried out.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
